Ongoing Judging Book (Cover, Prereads until Review) : The Nightmare Room Camp Nowhere by R.L. Stine

Before I start, this is my first post about prereading until review, which means this post is an ongoing process that may take months to finish. We need to align our mutual understanding of "preread". The word "preread" in this context refers to informal resource specifically novels (fiction books for upper primary level of students until elder). From what I've gathered, preread means skimming the whole main points of the book, not the story, could be the title, cover, chapters and allow the reader to predict what kind of story or whether they would take the time to read it or not. The previous definition of preread is a combination of Richard Nordquist 's (2019) explanation of what a preread is and my point of view as a reader and how I'm gonna write down the preread of the novel I'm going to talk about in this post.
